Really good week that
we had this week!
We had a really good
lesson again with the lady named Beatriz, she is progressing slowly but surely.
We will be having another lesson with her today with her husband! So we are
super excited for that!
We have also had some
really good lessons with Wendy, Audel, and Yesenia. We also had a fast for them
all day yesterday that the struggles and roadblocks for the baptisms of Yesenia
and Audel can be overcome. It’s a lot easier to fast when you have a purpose
that you really want to accomplish.
I got to go on
exchanges this week with Elder Ellsworth, from southern California. That was
fun. He is probably the missionary who I have seen change the most in the 3
months that he has been out! I love watching growth!
Friday was a miracle.
We were able to go blitz our area with Elder Baird and Elder Cruz, which was
fun. But the miracle came when we go to our dinner appointment. The members
just decided to invite one of their friends and her two daughters to dinner. We
were able to share the restoration lesson with them. And then on Sunday the
whole family, including the husband, came to church! That was super cool!
And on Saturday we were able to go to the temple with the Molina family and a less active that Elder Blood tracted into named Sara. They were able to do baptisms for the dead and man was the spirit strong! I got to baptize Jesus Molina. It was a little difficult because he’s a lot bigger than I was and he was scared to go into the water at some points, but we overcame and finished the baptisms. Talk about grace!
