Me encanta el templo :)

Really good week that we had this week!

We had a really good lesson again with the lady named Beatriz, she is progressing slowly but surely. We will be having another lesson with her today with her husband! So we are super excited for that!

We have also had some really good lessons with Wendy, Audel, and Yesenia. We also had a fast for them all day yesterday that the struggles and roadblocks for the baptisms of Yesenia and Audel can be overcome. It’s a lot easier to fast when you have a purpose that you really want to accomplish.

I got to go on exchanges this week with Elder Ellsworth, from southern California. That was fun. He is probably the missionary who I have seen change the most in the 3 months that he has been out! I love watching growth!

Friday was a miracle. We were able to go blitz our area with Elder Baird and Elder Cruz, which was fun. But the miracle came when we go to our dinner appointment. The members just decided to invite one of their friends and her two daughters to dinner. We were able to share the restoration lesson with them. And then on Sunday the whole family, including the husband, came to church! That was super cool!

And on Saturday we were able to go to the temple with the Molina family and a less active that Elder Blood tracted into named Sara. They were able to do baptisms for the dead and man was the spirit strong! I got to baptize Jesus Molina. It was a little difficult because he’s a lot bigger than I was and he was scared to go into the water at some points, but we overcame and finished the baptisms. Talk about grace!

Por que no podria quedar el calor?!

Super sad that it turned cold again this week. I was so looking forward to March when it would be warm! Oh well I guess I’ll just have to man it out.

This week was really good.

We had this lesson planned with this lady named Beatrice, and we wanted a member to come, but when we stopped by his house to ask him, he wasn’t home, but another member and his return missionary son were there. The son, Diego, came and it was such an awesome member present. He testified of the truthfulness of the church and the BOM and it was just powerful. Members are so crucial to this work, it’s insane!

We also had a good lesson with Wendy, and now we are officially teaching her boyfriend, and they are set to get married the 10 of April and baptized the 16. Audel (the bf) went and bought a white shirt this week to come to church, and I gave him a tie. So now he looks spiffy :)

We had a great service opportunity at a tire shop. We were able to talk to a lot of people there and explain to them what missionaries do and even try to talk about the gospel, but not many wanted it, oh well we tried.

I went back to my old area on exchanges with Elder Cruz, and it was super cool because for almost a whole day, I only spoke Spanish! But we got to visit the members and investigators there, and even Jesica, Francisco, Jesse, and Destany :) they are doing awesome and he got the priesthood last week :)

Love you all :)
Sitting in a waiting room.  Super bored and can't sleep.

Me gusta estar en mi antigua area otra vez :)

This week has been really good. I love being with Elder Blood again and I love being in Westlake again!

Tuesday was an awesome day, we got to meet with Wendy and Yesenia again and they are still so ready for the gospel! This time they are both actually going to get baptized :)

We also met with some less actives that I had visited, and they had changed a lot too and were a lot more receptive to the gospel and spiritual things :)

The best part was being able to eat with the Molina’s again, after every member of their family has now been baptized :)

We had a lesson that started out not being very good with Juan, he is the husband of a returning less active. We just couldn't seem to connect with him to make it relevant. But we brought a member with us, Hno Castellon, and half way through the lesson they just connected and it went so much better! Members are what progress investigators to baptism, not missionaries!

We were tracking and we were about to go up to a house, and this guy walked out kind of hostile, but then we got to know him a little bit and he let us in. We had a really good lesson with him and his wife, and he had tons of questions that we weren't able to answer because we had to go to an appointment. So then we went back on Saturday with Hermano Molina, and the son was there this time as well. The son was kind of telling his dad, "This is what you were telling me the other day you were looking for." and "The Jews were closed minded and didn't believe in Christ, and now you are being close minded and not believing in Joseph Smith." It was like "BOOYAH" because the kid was totally telling his dad to stop being so closed minded and listen. I think they will get baptized, it’s just going to take time ;)

We were tracting another time (we tracted a lot this week) and we met this cool guy named Ricardo from Honduras, he said that in Honduras the missionaries used to visit him. So we had an awesome resto lesson and we are hoping to progress him :)

Sunday was a fun day because lots of people came to church! And lots of larc (less active, recent converts) and some people from my old area :)

All (except one) of the Spanish missionaries in the mission :)
