Prospero ano

So I have to say this week was awesome! But our normal weekly schedule was changed so it felt like it was a really long week too though.

On Monday we found lots of Hispanics which was an awesome thing because we had been having a hard time finding them. So now it is just getting the new investigators we found to progress!

Tuesday was a miraculous day! I loved it. Found more Hispanics, and then we drove for like 40 min to this investigator that the English elders had found and had been teaching, but the wife Brenda didn’t speak any English. Her boyfriend Daniel did however. So we drive really far away and we had this member coming pretty far to go with us as well. But when we get there the address we have does not exist. I was getting nervous because this member had a reputation of kinda getting annoyed when the appointments aren’t there. So we just started knocking anything that was close to the address we had in these apartments. We knocked on this door and a woman answered. It wasn’t the family we had been looking for, but they were very nice and let us right in. We were able to share the restoration and the member shared his testimony. And then as soon as we walked out the door Daniel called and gave us his correct address. Sadly, the member had to leave, but then we had this super awesome lesson with Daniel and Brenda. She was so happy to see us and be able to converse with us without an interpreter. So it was awesome!

Wednesday was Christmas Conference as a mission and it was super uplifting and fun! Love Christmas as a missionary!

Then on Christmas Eve we were stuffed to death by the members! Lunch with the Bello family, and she made some AMAZING tacos! I was so full! And then we went to the Garcias and they stuffed us as well. I felt like I was going to explode! But it was very fun to be able to share a Christmas message with all of them!

I have to say this Christmas was one of my favorites. And it was because I focused on spending time with the people that I love. My family through internet, and the missionaries and the members of the branch. So great! Loved it! Hope all of you loved Christmas and felt the spirit of God as you spent time with your loved ones!

Then Saturday was super great! We went to the baptism of Sarah! She was so happy to be baptized! Elder Shepherd performed the baptism! Then later that day we went to a baptism of a woman named Carmen. She was so sweet and gave the sweetest testimony after.
And to add the cherry on top, Karina from English class in Elkhart, her son Alejandro, and her daughter Amber all got baptized on Saturday as well!

Then yesterday we had a super spiritual lesson with a less active family, the Portillos. We kinda called them out, but in a loving and spirit filled manner. Told them they need to come to church to feel peace, and that it was what they had promised God they would do!

So this week has been a week of miracles! Loved it!!!!!!
